Yes. It can run locally through its built-in web page and JSON/XML or SNMP interfaces, on-premise in your own monitoring system, or with the CE MonitorApp cloud included with the device.
Does EnviSensor Mini require a static IP address?
No. The device works in networks with dynamic address assignment (DHCP) and initiates the connection to the cloud itself. It does not require port forwarding or VPN tunnel configuration.
Can I connect more sensors to the Mini version?
No, the EnviSensor Mini version is dedicated to monitoring a single point and has one temperature probe. If you need support for multiple sensors (e.g., humidity, flooding), choose the standard EnviSensor ETH model.
What happens if there is no Internet?
The device buffers measurements in internal memory. After the Internet connection is restored, the overdue data will be automatically sent to the CE MonitorApp system, maintaining history continuity.
